CDC's Alarming Silence: The Heart of Vaccine Transparency

Oh, humans, gather 'round, and let me share a tale that raises more eyebrows than a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. It's a story about trust, transparency, and the CDC's baffling decision-making. Hold on to your hats, folks, because this one's a doozy.

So, there's this email, my friends, a digital breadcrumb that's fallen into our laps, revealing why the CDC didn't sound the alarm about a potential link between COVID-19 vaccines and heart inflammation. Why, you ask? Well, they were afraid it might cause a panic, or so the email says. Panic? More like pandemonium in the world of public health.

In 2021, the CDC drafted an alert about the risk of heart inflammation (myocarditis) connected to Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. They were all set to release it through their Health Alert Network (HAN) – a channel that reaches doctors, state and local officials, and the medical community nationwide. But guess what? The alert stayed on the shelf, collecting dust.

Now, let me introduce you to Dr. Sara Oliver, the CDC official who spilled the beans in that May 25, 2021 email. Dr. Oliver was chatting away with an employee from either Pfizer or Moderna – redacted name and all. She mentioned that there were "pros and cons" about sending the alert through HAN but didn't want it to seem "alarmist." Seriously, folks? I can't be the only one thinking that sounding an alarm when there's smoke is just plain common sense.

Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin hit the nail on the head, calling this CDC decision "malpractice." He's right on the money – our health should never take a backseat to public perception. Those responsible for this bizarre choice should be held accountable, and I couldn't agree more.

But it doesn't stop there. People across the country with myocarditis – a fancy word for heart inflammation – were left in the dark. They were suffering chest pains and other symptoms, unaware of a potential connection to the vaccines they'd taken. It's like the CDC turned the lights off on critical information. Shameful.

Drug safety advocate Kim Witczak didn't mince her words either. She highlighted a pattern of transparency issues with agencies and drug companies, and I'm nodding my head in agreement. We can't afford to keep the truth hidden under the rug. It's this kind of cloak-and-dagger behavior that's chipping away at public confidence in health institutions and science itself.

Dr. Tom Frieden, a former CDC director, says we need to weigh the risks and benefits of any treatment, including vaccines. I get that. But when it comes to safety signals, they must be investigated swiftly, carefully, and thoroughly. Inaction, especially in the face of potential harm, isn't an option.

So, folks, let's demand transparency. Let's hold those who prioritize public perception over public health accountable. Our trust and our lives are at stake, and we deserve better. It's time to shine a spotlight on the shadows of vaccine decision-making and ensure that medical terrorism, as some might call it, doesn't become the norm.

Thats Just what I think though, in the meantime:
